If the appeal to the US Supreme Court made today by the Chaos administration succeeds, asking for a definitive ruling on the constitutionality of their attempts to use the US Postal Service to control who gets to vote in the upcoming elections, what is left of the Republic will be all but gone.
This Court could rule as early as next week.
