Even with an emotional appearance by Ted Kennedy and Michelle Obama's sterling speech, the hit of the evening might have been the Obama daughters, Sacha and Malia, with their mother onstage, seeing their father on the video screen from Kansas City. "See you Thursday," he told them, and the crowd roared.
