The Rosa Parks funeral started out beautifully and then, like everything else Detroit does, turned into a huge embarrassment. All of those hot air bags speaking was ridiculous. If Detroit had the dignity of Rosa, they would have chosen the speakers for this honorable occassion more thoughtfully. Letting every Tom Dick and Harry speak was pathetic. I was just glad the place was almost empty by the time Jessie Jackson spoke.
At 4:30 I changed channels and found The Rosa Parks Story on a cable channel and watched it. It was great. She really was awesome.
